Congratulations to CHS student writers!

Newton Central High School has had 6 published works in two separate contests this year as a part of YoungWriters USA.

YoungWriters Spine Chillers Edition. Each student wrote and submitted a 100 word "spooky" story. Three CHS students were selected as potential finalists in the competition:

     Anna  "Clowntober the 13th"
Anonymous  "The Dark"
     Michael  "Gasoline Dreams"

YoungWriters The Poetry Games. 
Each student wrote and submitted a poem (up to 30 lines). Three CHS students were selected to be published in the collection of poems from around the country:
