Exercise Log Options

There are many options for creating your your exercise log, and there is no specific format required. Here are just some options:

  • Create a table in your Google Doc with rows for each exercise and columns for things like date, equipment, # of sets, # of reps, time/minutes, weight, notes, etc. 
  • Create a new Google Sheet (spreadsheet) with rows for each exercise and columns for things like date, equipment, # of sets, # of reps, time/minutes, weight, notes, etc. 
  • Google "Fitness log" / "exercise log" / "workout log" template and copy or download an existing template
  • Create a Google Form to complete each time you work out; use the results spreadsheet it creates as your log. Below is an example of a log created using Google Forms. Ask a librarian for help in creating one of your own!

You can choose to create a spreadsheet with your Google Form results, which can then become your log:
