Women in Literature: Breath, Eyes, Memory by Edwidge Danticat

African-American Literature: Nickel Boys Age by Colson Whitehead

Asian-American Literature: Yellowface by R.F. Kuang 

Film Studies: Read Making Movies by Sydney Lumet and watch one film directed by Lumet. Suggested films are: 12 Angry Men, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, and Network.

AP Language and Composition: The Nineties by Chuck Klosterman

AP Literature: Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

Shakespeare: The World as Stage by Bill Bryson
